I love siege games and it has been 10 years since the last big siege at
BOYL, many lessons were learnt from that game and so this year I'm going to be
putting on a big game all Saturday on one of the big tables. One of the lessons
learnt was that bring whatever you like and chuck it at the table doesn’t work
so much for a siege game. we ended up with a large field battle in front of the
city walls with wood elves and tree men doing most of the heavy lifting.
I'm going to be working out rough points values using 3rd ed BOB and to some
extent Armies. Nicely divided into commands for you to use. I will be
using mainly late 80's to mid 90's miniatures but anything cool and in style
gets to be included. I'll be posting more about them over the next few months.
